Data recovery
Photos, work files, accounts: if a drive has stopped working, the files are usually still there. We recover from hard drives, SSDs, memory cards, RAID arrays, NAS boxes and laptops that won’t start.
Clicking or buzzing hard drives are opened in our clean-air cabinet. Nothing is written to the original drive: we copy it first, then recover from the copy.

Questions we get asked
What should I do first?
Stop using the drive. Don’t run repair tools or keep restarting it: every attempt can make recovery harder.
How much does data recovery cost?
The consultation is free. Deleted files on a healthy hard drive are £99 + VAT. Physical recovery on a single drive is £450 + VAT plus a donor drive if needed.
How do I get the drive to you?
Book online, then bring it to the SE1 workshop or send it by tracked courier. Wrap it in an anti-static bag and plenty of padding.
