Swapping a hard drive for an SSD is the biggest single speed-up for an older laptop or desktop. We clone your drive across, so everything is where you left it.
Whether memory and storage can be upgraded depends on the model: some have slots, some are soldered to the board. Every model page on this site shows which.

Can my laptop be upgraded?
Look it up on the models page, or tell us the model number when you book. Many thin laptops and all recent Macs have soldered memory and storage.
Will I lose my files and programs?
No. We clone your existing drive to the new SSD.
How much does an SSD upgrade cost?
£185 + VAT for fitting, cloning and setup, plus the SSD, which we quote for your model.
