Getting your files back
The Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (2007) uses a standard SATA hard drive (an SSD if it has been upgraded). Even if it hasn’t been switched on for years, the files are usually still there. We take the drive out and copy it sector by sector before recovering anything, so nothing is written to the original. If it clicks, buzzes or isn’t detected, it is opened in our clean-air cabinet.
